About The Opportunity
A fast-growing IT services and digital transformation consultancy based in India, we enable enterprises to modernize their data ecosystems through rigorous testing, quality assurance, and data governance frameworks. Our clients span BFSI, telecom, healthcare, and e-commerce—relying on us to validate the accuracy, performance, and reliability of their ETL pipelines before deployment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design and execute end-to-end test cases for ETL workflows—data extraction, transformation logic, and target loading into data warehouses or data marts.
- Validate data integrity, mapping accuracy, and business rule compliance across source-to-target systems (Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, Redshift).
- Perform backend validation using SQL queries to compare source and target data counts, aggregates, and transformations.
- Identify data anomalies, duplicates, truncations, or referential integrity issues and log bugs with clear repro steps.
- Collaborate with ETL developers, BI analysts, and data engineers to troubleshoot defects and improve pipeline robustness.
- Document test results, maintain traceability matrices, and ensure test coverage aligns with business requirements.
