Role & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute ETL test cases to validate data transformations and loads
- Collaborate with Data Engineers and Business Analysts to understand data flow requirements
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data discrepancies and bugs during testing phases
- Create comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and defect reports
- Perform data validation and quality checks on large datasets within data warehouse environments
- Ensure ETL processes comply with data governance and quality standards
Skills & Qualifications
- Must-Have
- Experience with SQL for data validation and testing
- Knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts and ETL tools
- Proficiency in using ETL testing tools and frameworks
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to create detailed test documentation
- Preferred
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms like AWS or Azure
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Shell Scripting
- Familiarity with Agile testing methodologies
