We are looking for an ETL Tester with experience in data warehouse and ETL testing. The candidate will be responsible for validating data extraction, transformation, and loading processes to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and quality across systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and ETL mappings.
- Create and execute ETL test cases and test plans.
- Validate source-to-target data mappings.
- Perform data completeness, data transformation, and data quality testing.
- Execute SQL queries for backend/database validation.
- Identify, log, and track defects using defect management tools.
- Perform regression, integration, and system testing.
- Validate data in Data Warehouse/Data Lake environments.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams.
- Prepare test reports and documentation.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of ETL Testing concepts.
- Good hands-on experience with SQL.
- Experience in databases like Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Teradata.
- Knowledge of ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, DataStage, or Ab Initio.
- Understanding of Data Warehouse concepts (Fact, Dimension, Star Schema).
- Experience with Unix/Linux commands.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools like JIRA or ALM.
- Good analytical and communication skills.
