Greetings from Tesslogs,
We are looking for an experienced ETL Tester with strong expertise in Databricks, SQL, and Retail domain knowledge. The ideal candidate will work independently, lead testing activities, and ensure high-quality delivery of data and analytics solutions within Agile environments

Notice Perod: 0-25 Days
Location: Bangalore
Key Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end testing including test case design, execution, and defect management
- Analyze business requirements and derive test scenarios & test cases
- Prepare test strategy, test plans, and effort estimations
- Conduct Integration, Deployment, and Data Testing
- Design and maintain test scripts, test data, and expected results
- Execute test cases and validate ETL pipelines and data transformations
- Manage defects lifecycle, including severity and priority assessment
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for defects
- Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders for issue resolution
- Lead/mentor junior testers and ensure quality deliverables
- Maintain and enhance regression test suites
- Drive test automation initiatives (Databricks/backend preferred)
- Provide accurate test status reporting and risk management
Required Skills
- Strong experience in ETL Testing & Data Validation
- Hands-on experience with Databricks and SQL (SQL DB/PostgreSQL)
- Knowledge of Azure Data Engineering (ADF, Linked Services, Databases)
- Experience in Integration Testing & Deployment Testing
- Good understanding of STLC, QA methodologies, and testing frameworks
- Experience working in Agile & DevOps environments
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/VSTS, Git)
- Experience with test management & defect tracking tools (JIRA/ALM)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
