gy.
The Ethical Trade Executive (ETE) will play a key role in strengthening supply chain management and traceability within the Primark Cotton Programme in India. The role is responsible for coordinating with supply chain partners, ensuring smooth cotton flow, conducting audits and checks, resolving issues, and delivering training to improve efficiency and data accuracy. The ETE will also contribute to the evolution of supply chain and traceability strategy, prioritisation, process optimisation, and development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The role will also involve engagement with Primark teams in other countries to support alignment on supply chain and traceability approac
hes.

l do:This role will focus on India and have the following key responsibili
ties:Support effective supply chain manag
- ementEngage actively with different partners, including the programme implementers and the businesses (farmers, ginners, spinners etc) within the supply chain. This will require undertaking frequent mill visits and organising stakeholder events. Use this engagemen
- t to:facilitate and support our contracted implementing partners to conduct training on supply chain management and traceability proc
- essesensure compliance with traceability processes and quality requirements, including by comparing mills’ conduct to expected behaviours, and assessing what response is appropriate where factories are not comp
- lyingbased on the assessment of compliance, assess how much PCP cotton to allocate to
- themensure compliance with procurement volume allocations including by confirming actual stock levels reflect those stored on the s
ystem
Traceability in the Cotton Supply
