Role Description The Estimator Interior Projects role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Pune Division. This role is responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for interior projects, including materials, labor, and services, based on design drawings, specifications, and site conditions. The estimator will collaborate with designers, project managers, procurement, and vendors to validate quantities, obtain competitive pricing, and align estimates with project budgets and timelines. Daily tasks include reviewing project documents, performing quantity take-offs, updating cost databases, preparing BOQs, and generating clear estimate reports for internal stakeholders and clients. The role also involves monitoring cost changes, supporting value engineering, and assisting in bid proposals and negotiations to ensure financially viable, high-quality project delivery.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Cost Management and Budgeting to develop, track, and optimize project financials.
- Hands-on experience in Construction Estimating and Project Estimation for interior fit-out or construction projects.
- Effective Communication skills to coordinate with designers, project teams, vendors, and clients.
- Proficiency with estimation software, spreadsheets, and basic project management tools.
- Good understanding of interior materials, finishes, fixtures, and local market rates.
- Ability to interpret architectural and interior drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Relevant experience in interior projects, construction, or fit-out estimating; prior work in a similar role is preferred.
- Diploma or degree in, Interior Design, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field is beneficial.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
