Job Opening: Estimator (GC / Glazing / Concrete)

About the Role
We are hiring experienced estimators for our General Contracting (GC), Glazing, and Concrete estimation divisions. Applicants must have strong hands-on estimation experience and solid trade-level understanding in at least one of these sectors before applying.
This role is open to professionals with proven experience in one or more of the following:
- General Contracting (GC-Level Estimation)
- Glazing & Storefront Systems
- Concrete / Structural Concrete Estimation
The selected candidate will be responsible for quantity take-offs, scope reviews, pricing, bid preparation, and coordination activities based on construction drawings and specifications.
Depending on the candidate’s experience and specialization, assignments may involve trade-specific estimation or multi-trade GC-level estimation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Review architectural, structural, civil, and construction drawings
- Perform accurate quantity take-offs based on project scope
- Prepare BOQs, estimates, and bid breakdowns
- Analyze specifications, RFIs, addendums, and scope documents
- Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams for pricing
- Identify scope gaps, exclusions, and clarification requirements
- Maintain organized estimation logs and documentation
- Support bid submissions and estimation workflows for U.S. construction projects
Preferred Experience Areas
General Contractor (GC) Estimation
- Multi-trade take-offs and bid compilation
- Scope coordination across divisions/trades
- Preliminary budgeting and subcontractor pricing
Glazing Estimation
- Storefronts, curtain walls, windows, doors, and glass systems
- Aluminum systems and glazing take-offs
- Fabrication and installation quantity calculations
Concrete Estimation
- Structural concrete, foundations, slabs, rebar, and formwork
- Commercial concrete quantity take-offs
- Material and labor estimation for concrete packages
Required Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field
- Prior experience in construction estimation for U.S. projects
- Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications
- Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with Bluebeam, OST, MS Excel or similar estimation tools
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Good written and spoken English
Important Notes
- Candidates will be evaluated based on their relevant experience area (GC, Glazing, or Concrete)
- Prior experience in U.S. construction estimation is strongly preferred
- This role is intended for candidates with prior hands-on estimation experience in at least one of the mentioned sectors
