Role Description The Estimator role at MeBumi Estimates is a full-time, on-site position based in the Pune Division. The Estimator will prepare detailed quantity takeoffs for construction projects- Interior finishes, reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documents to ensure accuracy and completeness. Daily responsibilities include analyzing drawings, collaborating with project teams to clarify scope, and updating estimate data as designs and client requirements evolve. The Estimator will also assist in takeoff preparation, maintain organized records of estimates, and contribute to continuous improvement of estimation processes and tools.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
- Proficiency with estimation and takeoff software-Bluebeam Revu, spreadsheets, and relevant digital tools used in construction cost management.
- Knowledge of construction methods and materials in civil, residential, or commercial projects.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with project managers, engineers, and clients on scope and drawings.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in calculations, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced tender environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field preferred.
- Prior experience in estimating, quantity surveying, or tendering in the construction industry is an advantage.
