Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Estimator role based in Pune. The Estimator will analyze project drawings, specifications, and site requirements to prepare accurate material take-offs and cost estimates for aluminum windows and doors. The role includes coordinating with sales, design, and installation teams to clarify project details, update estimates, and support pricing proposals. The Estimator will prepare quotations, track revisions, and maintain cost databases to ensure competitive and profitable bids. Daily tasks also involve reviewing vendor rates, monitoring market prices, and supporting project budgeting and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including proficiency in cost estimation, budgeting, and interpreting technical drawings.
- Experience with MS Excel or similar tools for creating detailed estimates, cost summaries, and project reports.
- Familiarity with construction or fenestration materials, particularly aluminum window and door systems, is highly beneficial.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, design, operations) and communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders.
- High attention to detail, accuracy in calculations, and strong organizational skills for managing multiple projects and deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
- Prior experience in estimation or costing within construction, building products, or related industries is an advantage.
