Role Description The Estimation Engineer role at PROCURAL Private Limited is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. The Estimation Engineer will prepare detailed BOQs and cost estimates for aluminium fenestration projects, analyzing drawings, specifications, and technical requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with sales and project teams, evaluating material and labor costs, and supporting pricing strategies to ensure competitive and accurate proposals. The role involves performing technical and market research, supporting negotiations with clients and suppliers, and maintaining estimation databases and documentation. The Estimation Engineer will also collaborate with design and engineering teams to optimize solutions for performance, quality, and cost.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in BOQ preparation and Project Estimation, with the ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
- Candidates should have a solid foundation in Civil Engineering or related disciplines, with knowledge of construction materials, façade systems, and industry standards.
- Candidates should demonstrate effective Negotiation skills for working with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders on pricing and terms.
- Candidates should possess strong Research skills to analyze market rates, technical data, and project benchmarks for accurate costing.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proficiency in estimation and design tools (e.g., Excel, AutoCAD, or similar software) and strong numerical and analytical abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively on-site.
- Experience in aluminium façades, windows, doors, or similar building envelope systems will be an added advantage.
