Job Summary :

As a Senior Estimation/Costing Engineer specializing in LT panels-MCC, PCC, Synchronizing, APFC, AMF DG, PDB, Control and Relay Panel, Instrumentation Panel, Soft-starters & AC drives Panel, PLC/HMI based Automation panel etc. He will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for these all various electrical panels, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction. He will work closely with teams, suppliers and customers to understand project requirements, analyze technical specifications and develop comprehensive cost estimates. His expertise in LT panels and electrical systems will be instrumental in delivering successful projects within budgetary constraints.

Responsibilities :

• Analyze project requirements and technical specifications for LT panels.
• Review and understand drawings and relevant documentation.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates considering switchgear material, fabrication, bus-bar, wiring, labor, equipment, transportation and overhead costs.
• Utilize historical data, market trends and industry benchmarks for competitive pricing.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and propose value engineering solutions.
• Coordinate with vendors for accurate pricing and establish procurement agreements.
• Provide technical support and guidance during the estimation process.
• Stay updated with industry standards, codes and regulations.
• Prepare comprehensive cost estimation reports and maintain accurate records.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices.
• Preparation of tender documents and proposals.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in LT panel estimation and costing.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, panel design and industry standards.
• Proficient in reading electrical drawings and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with electrical equipment and materials used in LT panel manufacturing.
• Advanced proficiency in estimation software InstaQuote, Autocad and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical, communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and deliver accurate cost estimates.
