Position- Estimation Engineer
Role Description The Estimation Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The individual in this role prepares detailed cost estimates and BOQs for electrical and MEP projects across roads, transport systems, industrial facilities, and building infrastructure. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing drawings and specifications, conducting quantity take-offs, performing rate analysis, and coordinating with project, design, and procurement teams to ensure accurate budgeting.
Qualifications
- Strong project estimation and BOQ preparation skills for electrical, MEP, and infrastructure projects..
- Ability to conduct thorough research on materials, market rates, and technical specifications.
- Negotiation skills for engaging with vendors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders on pricing and scope.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Understanding of MEP systems, electrical infrastructure, and industry standards for public and private sector projects.
- Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and strong analytical and communication abilities.
- Ability to work on-site, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and manage multiple tenders or estimates within deadlines.
