We are a growing control panel manufacturer specializing in design, engineering, and fabrication of industrial electrical panels — MCC, PCC, VFD, and Distribution Panels — for clients across manufacturing, infrastructure, and process industries. We combine technical precision with fast turnaround and are expanding our estimation & pre-sales engineering team.
📋 Role Overview
As an Estimation Engineer, you will prepare accurate cost estimates and commercial proposals for control panel projects, working closely with our sales, design, and procurement teams.
✅ Key Responsibilities
- Study client RFQs, SLDs, GA drawings, and technical specs to prepare detailed BOMs
- Estimate material costs — MCBs, MCCBs, ACBs, contactors, relays, busbars, cable schedules
- Prepare techno-commercial quotations in coordination with the sales team
- Source and negotiate pricing with vendors (ABB, Siemens, Schneider, L&T, Havells, etc.)
- Maintain estimation database, rate cards, and vendor comparison sheets
- Coordinate with design and project teams during order review and hand-off
- Track won/lost quotations and improve estimation accuracy over time
- Ensure all estimates comply with IS/IEC standards and client specifications
📌 Requirements
- B.E. / Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- 3–6 years of experience in control panel or electrical project estimation
- Strong knowledge of LT/HT panel components, busbar sizing, cable sizing, and protection coordination
- Ability to read and interpret SLDs, GA drawings, and P&IDs
- Proficiency in MS Excel for cost sheets and quotation preparation
- Ability to manage multiple RFQs simultaneously under tight deadlines
