Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Estimation Engineer located in Pune. The Estimation Engineer will be responsible for preparing detailed BOQs (Bill of Quantities), analyzing project requirements, estimating costs, and collaborating with project teams to ensure accurate project planning. Duties will include leveraging civil engineering knowledge to prepare project estimates, conducting research to gather necessary data, and engaging in negotiations with vendors and stakeholders to optimize project efficiency and cost-effectiveness. The role will involve contributing to innovative solutions while adhering to the company’s values of sustainability, collaboration, and responsibility.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in BOQ preparation and strong skills in project estimation
- Solid understanding and application of Civil Engineering principles in project planning
- Strong research abilities to gather, analyze, and apply relevant data effectively
- Effective negotiation skills to manage vendor and client discussions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in an on-site environment and meet project deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Experience in sustainable and adaptive design methodologies is a plus
