Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Estimation Engineer, located in Ernakulam. The Estimation Engineer will be responsible for preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), performing cost estimation for projects, and working closely with the sales and technical teams. This role also involves conducting market research, analyzing project requirements, and effectively negotiating with stakeholders to ensure project cost efficiency and alignment with client needs.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in creating BOQs and conducting detailed project estimations
- Background in Civil Engineering with a strong understanding of construction processes and materials
- Strong research and analytical skills to gather and interpret project data
- Effective negotiation skills to interact with vendors, contractors, and clients
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for teamwork and client interactions
- Experience with architectural or construction projects is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
