Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and technically strong Estimation & Design Engineer for our electrical panel manufacturing company. The candidate will be responsible for preparation of techno-commercial offers, electrical designs, BOMs, costing, and coordination with production & clients.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Preparation of electrical panel GA drawings & SLDs
- Estimation and costing of LT panels such as PCC, MCC, APFC, VFD, PLC panels etc.
- Preparation of BOM and vendor comparison
- Selection of switchgear components and busbar sizing
- Understanding customer RFQs and preparing quotations
- Coordination with fabrication, wiring, and purchase teams
- Preparation of AutoCAD drawings and documentation
- Client discussion for technical clarification if required
Required Skills
- Knowledge of electrical panel design and estimation
- AutoCAD knowledge mandatory
- Understanding of LT switchgear and industrial control panels
- Basic knowledge of IEC standards and panel manufacturing
- Good communication and coordination skills
- MS Excel proficiency preferred
Qualification
- Diploma / BE in Electrical Engineering
Experience
- 1 to 4 Years preferred
- (Freshers with strong AutoCAD and electrical basics can also apply)
