Designation: Estate Manager
Location: Coonoor, Tamil Nadu
Experience: 3 - 5 years
Education Qualification: Degree in Hospitality
The Estate Manager is responsible for the organizations' success in reputation and customer satisfaction. He has to ensure that every guest has a 7 star experience and the staff ensures a clean, hospitable and luxurious environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- To play a pivotal role in setting up a new location or home from the ground up without any existing infrastructure
- To build a team to ensure guest satisfaction – this will encompass Guest Relations, Housekeeping, F&B, Facility Maintenance and client (home owner) management
- Managed end-to-end guest relations including check-in/check-out and personalized stay experiences
- Acted as the primary point of contact, handling guest requests, concierge services, and special occasions
- Delivered exceptional guest experiences through proactive engagement and service recovery
- Drove add-on sales (F&B, experiences, celebrations) to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue
- Coordinated with internal teams and vendors to ensure seamless service delivery
- Maintained guest preference records to support personalized and repeat stays
- Supported operations including reservations, marketing initiatives, revenue channels, and digital platforms
- Assisted in staff training programs, menu planning, and F&B service improvements
- Supervised housekeeping operations, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and guest readiness
- Managed staff scheduling, training, recruitment, and performance monitoring
- Handled inventory management, procurement, and budget control
- Conducted regular inspections of rooms, villas, and public areas
- Collaborated with maintenance teams to ensure all facilities and equipment were in optimal condition
- Performed pre-arrival and post-departure checks to maintain service quality standards
