Job Description:
Skill Level:Expert – Senior technical leader with strong experience driving Enterprise GIS modernization and upgrade programs.
Core ESRI Skills:
· ArcGIS Enterprise architecture and administration (Portal, Server, Data Store, Web Adaptors, License Manager)
· Enterprise GIS upgrade strategy and execution (10.x → 11.x)
· ArcGIS Pro migration planning and governance
· Security, federation, authentication, SSL, and access control
· Monitoring, performance optimization, and operational readiness
Responsibilities:
· Lead the end-to-end technical delivery of Enterprise GIS upgrade and modernization initiatives.
· Define target architecture, upgrade approach, sequencing, and environment strategy.
· Provide technical oversight for installation, configuration, migration, testing, and production rollout.
· Review and approve design decisions, migration plans, and deployment readiness.
· Identify and mitigate technical risks, dependencies, and integration challenges.
· Coordinate closely with infrastructure, database, application, and operations teams.
· Ensure solutions adhere to organizational governance, security, and quality standards.
· Support stabilization, hyper care, and transition to SteadyState operations.
