We are looking for an ESG Specialist with expertise in sustainability frameworks, ESG reporting, and implementation-driven ESG advisory. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical capabilities, project management experience, and hands-on exposure to ESG assessments, pilot projects, and sustainability implementation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage ESG reporting and disclosures aligned with frameworks such as BRSR, NGRBC, GRI, SASB, TCFD, CDP, and Integrated Reporting.
- Calculate, analyse, and monitor ESG parameters across all 9 principles and attributes of NGRBC/BRSR.
- Assess and track Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions and other sustainability metrics.
- Develop, automate, and manage ESG datasets, calculation tools, dashboards, and reporting trackers.
- Lead ESG assessments, pilot projects, implementation initiatives, and sustainability programmes across functions.
- Drive ESG strategy development, benchmarking, materiality assessments, and stakeholder engagement.
- Work with both primary and secondary data sources for ESG analysis, validation, automation, and reporting.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective ESG data management and implementation tracking.
- Monitor evolving ESG regulations, disclosure requirements, and sustainability trends.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in ESG consulting, sustainability advisory, ESG reporting, or corporate ESG functions.
- Strong understanding of ESG standards, sustainability frameworks, climate disclosures, and ESG data management.
- Hands-on experience in carbon accounting, ESG dataset automation, analytics, and project management.
- Proficiency in ESG data calculation methodologies, reporting tools, Excel/Power BI, and data automation processes.
- Ability to independently manage ESG projects from assessment to execution.
- Strong analytical, research, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in handling qualitative and quantitative ESG data.
