- Conduct in-depth ESG research and controversy analysis to identify, screen and assess potential environmental, social and governance risks for corporates across sectors
- Understanding of ESG data platforms such as MSCI, RepRisk, Sustainalytics and other platforms
- Perform climate risk and transition assessments (CTAs) by assessing corporate disclosures, emissions profiles, climate targets, governance frameworks and alignment with global climate frameworks
- Conduct sectoral and peer benchmarking to evaluate companies’ sustainability positioning relative to industry peers, identifying performance gaps and best practices across ESG parameters
- Produce high-quality research notes, analytical reports and internal investment memos integrating qualitative and quantitative ESG insights to support decision-making
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, with the ability to develop clear, structured and visually compelling client-ready presentations
- Adept in engaging with clients to address technical queries, incorporate feedback, and refine research methodologies and workflows to improve the quality and efficiency of ESG and climate analysis
- MBA / similar degree
- ESG certification / course is preferred
- High degree of comfort with MS Excel, Power Point and Word
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent client communications skills and ability to articulate well over phone and email
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Diligence and hard work
- Willingness to stretch and be proactive
- Should be a strong team player
