Role Description
We are looking for an ESG Intern for a full-time position based on-site in the Kolkata metropolitan area. As an ESG Intern, your responsibilities will include supporting environmental, social, and governance (ESG) data collection, performing research and analysis, assisting in drafting ESG reports, and creating insights to guide strategy. You will also contribute to sustainability initiatives, assist in stakeholder engagement, and align your work with the organization’s ESG goals. This role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the integration of ESG factors affecting business strategy and growth.
Qualifications
- Strong research and analytical skills, including the ability to collect and interpret ESG-related data.
- Proficiency in report writing and technical document drafting.
- Knowledge of ESG principles, sustainability practices, and environmental policies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to collaborate with stakeholders and convey insights effectively.
- Background in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, or a related field is highly valued
- Mapping Scope 1 - 3 categories across industries
- Supplier-level emissions data structuring
- Reviewing GHG Protocol, ISO, and reporting standards
- Relevant educational background or coursework in environmental science, sustainability, business, or related fields.
- Familiarity with advanced analytics or BI tools is a plus.
