We are looking to fill up to two (2) Senior Business Analysts to help with our continued growth and contribute to our future.


In this senior role, you will provide expertise in business analysis planning, requirements gathering, strategic analysis, and solution evaluation for a variety of projects and initiatives. Working closely with IT and Operations teams, you will also support the development and continuous improvement of ESC’s business analysis practice.


The right candidate will come with broad experience across domains and industries, who can lead collaboratively, guide a team of Business Analysts, and contribute to the adoption of emerging tools and best practices. Reporting to the Manager, IT Solutions & Quality Assurance, key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Prepare the business analysis approach, stakeholder engagement, governance, information management, and performance improvements.
  • Plan and conduct requirements elicitation, confirm and communicate results, and manage stakeholder engagement.
  • Trace, maintain, prioritize, assess changes, and gain approvals for requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Model requirements, define architecture, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and recommend solutions.
  • Measure and analyze solution performance, assess limitations, and recommend actions to improve value.
  • Ensure high-quality work, effective customer service, and successful change- management.
  • Lead initiatives using industry best practices to improve business and technical processes.
  • Analyze current and future states, assess risks, and help define change strategies in collaboration with business users.


What you’ll need:

  • Five (5) years of experience in Information Technology or Business Administration
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, business administration or equivalent experience. A combination of experience and education may be considered.
  • IIBA CBAP certification would be a strong asset.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation skills
  • Exceptional critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Broad IT domain experience in three or more of the following IT areas: Application Development, Enterprise Architecture, Project Management, Quality Assurance, Infrastructure, and Maintenance and Support
  • In depth understanding of the SDLC and various software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
  • Understanding of modeling techniques, such as UML, Data Flow Diagrams, Business Process Modeling, etc.
  • Able to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Strong understanding of technical and business concepts
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
