What's this role about?
We are seeking an SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding Managing Consultant to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional Onboarding transformation and AMS services to our clients. As an SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding (ONB) Managing Consultant, you will play a key role in implementing SuccessFactors Onboarding solutions for our clients. You will work closely with clients to understand their operational needs, design and configure SuccessFactors Onboarding modules, and ensure successful project delivery. Your expertise will help organisations streamline their HR processes, improve employee experiences, and achieve their strategic HR and people goals.
Here's How You'll Contribute
An SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding Consultant leads the end-to-end implementation, configuration, and support of onboarding modules, integrating them with Employee Central and Recruiting. Key responsibilities include creating business rules, workflows, data privacy, and electronic signatures to optimize new-hire experiences and ensure compliance.
As an SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding Consultant, your role involves leading the implementation, configuration, and support of end-to-end onboarding solutions. You will closely collaborate with HR IT business stakeholders to deliver seamless new-hire onboarding experiences aligned with organizational policies and compliance requirements. Your responsibilities include configuring business rules, workflows, onboarding tasks, panels, alerts, notifications, and data privacy.
Qualifications Required: - Proven experience in implementing SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding solutions - Strong understanding of HR IT business processes and requirements
Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills - Certification in SAP SuccessFactors is a plus
As an SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding Consultant, you will lead the implementation, configuration, and support of end-to-end onboarding solutions. You will closely collaborate with HR, IT business stakeholders to deliver seamless new-hire onboarding experiences aligned with organisational policies and compliance requirements. Your responsibilities include configuring business rules, workflows, onboarding tasks, panels, alerts, notifications, and data privacy.
You’ll Do This By
- Implementation & Configuration: Led end-to-end implementation of SuccessFactors Onboarding (ONB 2.0), configuring panels, tasks, alerts, and notifications.
- Integration: Expertly integrated Onboarding with Employee Central and Recruiting (RCM) to ensure seamless data flow.
- Process Optimization: Mapped business requirements to system functionality, including updating data dictionaries and designing user-friendly onboarding portals.
- Compliance & Security: Configured role-based permissions (RBP), security groups, and document management for regulatory compliance.
- Testing & Support: Conducted unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT), along with post-go-live support.

Your Key Responsibilities
Lead implementation, configuration, and support of end-to-end onboarding solutions - Configure business rules, workflows, onboarding tasks, panels, alerts, notifications, and data privacy - Implement ONB modules and integrate Employee Central, Recruiting Management, and Document Management - Manage forms, e-signatures, compliance documents, and prepare functional specifications documentation - Conduct user training and collaborate with teams to ensure system stability and process optimization
- Create innovative insights for clients, adapting methods and practices to fit project needs
- Use your knowledge and implementation experience to shape our services to meet client needs
- Use expertise to manage and deliver HR Transformation projects across various sectors, enhancing the change experience for diverse organizations.
- Leverage your previous HR Technology experience to develop and deliver fit-for-purpose analysis, recommendations, solutions, reports, presentations, and other project deliverables
- Implement and configure SuccessFactors Onboarding to meet client requirements and business processes.
- Conduct workshops to gather business requirements and provide best practice recommendations.
- Develop and document functional specifications, solution designs, and configuration workbooks
- Collaborate with cross-functional and technical teams to ensure seamless integration with other SuccessFactors modules and third-party systems.
- Provide advanced-level support and troubleshooting for complex issues related to HR business processes and Onboarding.
- Provide advanced – level advice and guidance on payroll deployment approach and planning
- Perform data migration and validation activities to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and client expectations to ensure successful project delivery.
- Stay updated with the latest SuccessFactors releases and enhancements and provide recommendations for system improvements.
Skills And Attributes For Success
- A relevant Degree or Qualification in Business/Commerce, HR, HR Technology, or Information Systems
- Certification and experience in SuccessFactors Onboarding and at least one Talent module (Performance & Goals, Succession, Recruitment, Onboarding, Compensation, LMS etc) at a minimum
- Completion of a minimum 3 end-to-end SuccessFactors implementations
Ideally, you’ll also have the skills and attributes below but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.
- Understanding of HR Technology-related business challenges and how to improve people and business experience
- Experience in SF Onboarding and Payroll projects to enhance business functionality and overall performance
- Experience working in diverse teams across various locations
- Consulting experience, including the ability to engage clients and colleagues at all levels and facilitate client discussions and workshops
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders and relationships effectively.
