Job Description
This role focuses on gathering, analyzing, and translating business requirements for external-facing user interfaces built on Salesforce Experience Cloud or custom mobile applications. It requires a strong understanding of user journeys, self‑service experiences, and how these front-end interactions integrate with backend systems. The position bridges UI/UX design with technical integration needs, ensuring a seamless end‑to‑end experience for external users while maintaining data integrity across all connected platforms.
Responsibilities

- Gather and document requirements for external-facing interfaces such as Salesforce Experience Cloud portals or custom mobile applications.
- Define user journeys, self-service flows, and associated functional behaviors.
- Identify and document integration points between front-end platforms and backend systems (Salesforce core, ERPs, marketing tools, etc.).
- Create detailed user stories covering both UI behavior and required API interactions.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and prototypes into actionable functional requirements.
- Map data fields across systems and define transformation logic for accurate data exchange.
- Validate end‑to‑end integration flows, ensuring actions taken in the portal or app correctly update downstream systems.
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure integration patterns and API usage align with requirements.
- Represent the external user perspective, ensuring a balance between user experience, system functionality, and data integrity.
- Bridge communication between front‑end design considerations and backend technical constraints.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong experience documenting requirements for Salesforce Experience Cloud or custom mobile applications.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, integration concepts, and common integration patterns.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including UI/UX designers, backend developers, and integration architects.
- Ability to create detailed user stories capturing UI behavior, backend interactions, and integration logic.
- Experience in data mapping, transformation logic, and end‑to‑end process validation.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to represent user needs effectively.
- Understanding of system behaviors across connected applications and ability to troubleshoot upstream and downstream impacts.
