Job details:
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in ERW/precision tube manufacturing with hands-on knowledge of tube mill quality, metallurgical testing, SPC, PFMEA, PPAP, 8D, and IATF 16949 requirements. The candidate should also possess strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and team coordination skills, with the ability to manage customer requirements, drive continuous improvement, and work effectively across departments in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage quality assurance for ERW Tube Mill and Slitter operations
• Ensure compliance with customer specifications and internal quality standards
• Handle metallurgical testing, spectrometer, and laboratory activities
• Implement and maintain SPC, MSA, PFMEA, PPAP, Control Plans, and SOPs
• Handle customer complaints, root cause analysis, and 8D reports
• Lead internal, external, and customer audits
• Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and EMS 14001
• Lead the QA team and coordinate with Production, Maintenance, and Stores
Required Profile:
• B.E./B.Tech in Metallurgy / Metallurgical Engineering preferred
• 18+ years of experience in Steel Tube / Precision Tube manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of ERW Tube Mill quality systems
• Experience in automotive quality requirements preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
