Role Description This is a full-time, on-site ERP Manual Tester / QA Analyst role based in Chennai Egmore. The role involves reviewing business requirements and functional specifications to understand ERP workflows and system behavior, then designing clear, detailed test cases and test scenarios. The ERP Manual Tester / QA Analyst will execute manual test cases, log and track defects, and work closely with developers and functional consultants to troubleshoot and verify fixes. Daily responsibilities include performing regression, integration, and functional testing, validating data flows across ERP modules, and ensuring that releases meet quality standards before deployment. The role also includes maintaining test documentation, contributing to test process improvements, and providing clear status updates to project stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Strong Manual Testing and Test Cases design skills, with the ability to create comprehensive test scenarios from requirements.
- Hands-on experience in Test Execution and Quality Assurance, including defect reporting, tracking, and regression testing.
- Well-developed Analytical Skills to understand ERP business processes, identify edge cases, and troubleshoot issues across modules.
- Experience testing ERP or business applications (e.g., finance, inventory, sales, HR) and working with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with test management and bug-tracking tools, and basic understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and a structured approach to documentation.
- Ability to work on-site in Chennai Egmore, manage time effectively, and handle multiple testing tasks in parallel.
