Enterprise Agility Coach/Sr (Erie, PA, US, 16530)

Position Summary

Supports ERIE’s Business Agility transformation, which is focused on implementing efforts to enable the ability to respond to change, learn and pivot, and deliver at speed in a competitive market. Collaborates across disciplines in design, lean, agile, lean portfolio management, and six sigma/continuous improvement to support Erie’s employees toward confidently delivering value to our Enterprise outcomes. 

• Candidates with above minimum qualifications may be considered for Sr Enterprise Agility Coach (F14). Number of years and scope of experience will be used to determine the level.
• There are 2 positions available.

What You’ll Do

As a Enterprise Agility Coach, you’ll partner with programs and teams across the organization to build agile maturity centered around the flow of value. You'll coach teams through transformation -- meeting them where they are on their journey and guide them toward stable, high-performing teams with a continuous improvement mindset.
You’ll partner across disciplines in Agile, Lean, Design Thinking, and Continuous Improvement to build maturity and create measurable business outcomes. This role operates at the team and program level—focused on building high-performing teams and enabling delivery flow of value, not enterprise-level portfolio strategy.

Preferred Experience and Skills

• Proven experience coaching Agile teams and programs (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe) through maturity growth.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, Agile, and Continuous Improvement principles with a focus on practical application.
• Experience facilitating Design Thinking to drive innovation and customer-centered solutions.
• Demonstrated success implementing metrics that track agility maturity, team performance, and business outcomes.
• Skilled communicator able to influence individual contributors and leaders at various levels.
• Experience applying change management to support sustainable transformation.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs analysis of inputs leading to the creation of maturity plans around processes, mindsets, behaviors, and competencies.
• Collaborates with Enterprise Agility colleagues to support implementation, scale, and continuous improvement practices in identified enterprise agility competency areas.
• Supports agility maturity assessments current environment with teams in different stages of their agility journey.
• Provides analysis and support of strategic, milestone-based plans for business agility transformation including summarizing and tracking progress.
• Participates in community of practice with other coaches and practitioners across the organization, supports coaches or other facilitators. 
• Effectively communicates with customers, team members, or other stakeholders. 
• Collaborates with teams across design, lean, agile, lean portfolio management, and six sigma/continuous improvement practices.
• Achieves results through teamwork and collaboration; drives results through partnership and learning, embodies learning environment.
• Supports agility education and training program.

Minimum Educational and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and two years’ relevant work experience in complex initiatives and multi-discipline areas demonstrating: Coordinating across Business and IT organizations, Process and metrics development expertise; or, 
• Associate degree and four years’ relevant work experience in complex initiatives and multi-discipline areas demonstrating: Coordinating across Business and IT organizations, Process and metrics development expertise; or 
• High School Diploma and six years’ relevant work experience in complex initiatives and multi-discipline areas demonstrating: Coordinating across Business and IT organizations, Process and metrics development expertise; required.
