The Residential Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations and supervision of the Direct Support Professionals (DPSs, direct care) in the assigned group home. Responsibilities include creating the daily duty sheets, training of DSPs, managing supplies, and conducting house meetings.
The Residential Manager primarily works 1st- and 2nd-shifts. They may need to work 3rd shift occasionally.
Minimum base rate, $20.50/hour. Final compensation is based on experience and qualifications.
Duties include:
- Oversees the day-to-day operations of the group home with an emphasis on employee supervision and training, agency regulations, policies, procedures, and reporting.
- Feed, bathe, dress, and provide all personal care for individuals.
- Manage and maintain resident rep payee checking accounts, resident petty cash accounts, and the House petty cash account.
- Provides input and assists in planning and guiding each individual’s educational, social, recreational, work, and other activities.

Requirements
The successful applicant will meet these qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree in Business or related field and one (1) year of related experience or a High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) with two (2) years of direct care experience in an ID agency or equivalent.
- Minimal supervisory experience is preferred but not required.
- Above average verbal and written communication skills including a demonstrated ability to effectively and professionally communicate with others
- Working knowledge of computer software applications to include Microsoft Office, Excel, Internet and other agency related applications.
