About the role

To strengthen our presales organization in GCU TI and CU SEME, we are presently looking for a Technical Solution Manager in our Radio Solutions team. In this role you are responsible for developing techno-commercial value argumentations, defining solution strategies for key opportunities, consolidating needs/insights from primary Customer engagements, and sharing them with the wider MELA pre-sales organization. You're also accountable for providing profitable business for Ericsson by translating Customer needs and technology opportunities into detailed technical solutions and proposals. What you will do 1. Position Ericsson as thought and technology leader in RAN, Microwave and IP Transport, SW Tools and professional services with the Customer as the trusted influencer 2. Build a strong relationship with Customer's Technical decision makers 3. Drive RAN network evolution work towards target architecture 4. Prepare technical solutions and dimensioning in Ericsson internal tool 5. Prepare solution descriptions 6. Evaluate Customer technology, define business needs, value argumentation 7. Perform Customer presentations for a broad portfolio 8. Drive product substitution activities, NPI, automation, and other innovations 9. Do Installed Based and Market share tracking 10. Generate new business opportunities and secure profitable business in tender phase using techno commercial tactics 11. Drive the technical negotiation 12. Provide feedback to Business Area Networks on roadmap and products 13. Participate in knowledge transfer, share innovations and unique material developed 14. Stay abreast of new technology/technical areas The skills you will bring Leadership: •Competence Drive, Proficient Strategy, Driving Innovation, Business Acumen, Enabling People, Courageous Leadership, Uncompromising Integrity, Customer Excellence, Excelling Execution, Embracing Change •Capability in managing and driving change in large, complex, and cross-functional teams •Strong cultural awareness and excellent interpersonal communications and networking skills •Thought Leadership in identifying short- and long-term priorities to support the business needs •Strategic thinking, seeing the big picture as well as complex relations and dependencies Key Qualifications: • MS in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent • At least 2-5 years of relevant experience in pre-sales or product management roles • Proven track of successful international engagements • 4G&5G Radio Technology competence (mandatory) • Microwave and IP Transport competence (high importance) • Knowledge of Ericsson equipment, radio network features, algorithms, and parameters (a big plus) • Very good presentation skills • Fluent English and Russian (mandatory) • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Innovative and proactive attitude • Consultative approach towards the Customer • Result orientation, time management and organizational skills • Team player skills while being self-motivated, taking initiative and working under pressure • Strong focus on quality • This is a global position: availability to travel worldwide
