About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Europe Sales Manager to lead business growth across the European market for Industrial Equipment and Off-Highway segments.
The role will be responsible for driving strategic sales initiatives, managing key customer relationships, expanding market presence, and delivering sustainable revenue growth for AI/ Digital/ Automation Services.
The ideal candidate should possess strong experience in handling large OEM/key accounts within Industrial Machinery, Agricultural, Construction and Mining Equipment, Energy Transformation, Material Handling, or other Off-Highway sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Develop and execute the Europe sales strategy aligned with organizational growth objectives
- Identify new business opportunities across IEHM sectors.
- Drive revenue growth through digital solutions, embedded systems, product and manufacturing engineering solutions.
- Build strong pipelines and lead end-to-end sales cycles from prospecting to closure.
Key Account Management
- Manage and grow strategic relationships with major European OEMs and Tier-1 customers.
- Act as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction, long-term engagement, and account expansion.
- Lead account planning and customer growth initiatives.
Client Engagement: Build and nurture strong relationships with CXOs, decision-makers, and key stakeholders.
Market Expansion
- Expand Onward Technologies’ footprint across Germany and broader Europe.
- Analyse market trends, customer requirements, competitor positioning, and industry developments.
- Represent the company at trade fairs, customer events, and industry forums.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Work closely with delivery, engineering, and leadership teams to develop customized customer solutions.
- Collaborate with global teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer success.
- Mentor and guide sales teams and support regional business expansion initiatives.
Commercial Management
- Own sales targets, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting for the European region.
- Lead commercial negotiations, proposal development, pricing strategies, and contract discussions.
Desired Candidate Profile
Experience
- 16–20 years of experience in B2B sales/business development. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in Engineering Research & Development (ER&D) Services sales, specifically catering to clients in the Industrial Equipment and Off-Highway segments, across Europe region
- Strong experience in Industrial Equipment and Off-Highway domains is mandatory.
- Proven success in managing large European OEM/key accounts.
- Strong familiarity with European business culture, regulations, and client expectations.
- Experience selling ER&D, Digital Solutions, AI/Automation offerings, Embedded solutions
- Strong network within Industrial Machinery, Construction Equipment, Agriculture Equipment, Commercial Vehicles, or related sectors.
- Sales Leadership: Proven ability to lead large accounts and manage multi-million-dollar portfolios.
- Negotiation: Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Networking: Established network of industry contacts across Europe.
- Visa Requirement: Must hold valid Schengen visa and other relevant European work/travel permits to enable frequent client visits and business travel.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
- MBA or equivalent business qualification preferred.
