Role Overview:
We are looking for an Equity Research / Finance Analyst to support investment decision-making through financial analysis, company research, and market insights. The role involves evaluating listed companies, building financial models, and generating actionable research reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct fundamental analysis of companies (financials, business model, industry trends)
- Build and maintain financial models (valuation, forecasts, scenario analysis)
- Prepare equity research reports, investment notes, and presentations
- Track market movements, sector developments, and key macroeconomic trends
- Analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Assist in portfolio tracking and performance analysis
- Support senior stakeholders with data-driven insights
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in equity research / financial analysis
- Strong understanding of financial statements and valuation methods (DCF, comparables)
- Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
- Good analytical and research skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
Preferred:
- CA / CFA (or pursuing)
- Experience covering specific sectors (e.g., BFSI, Tech, Consumer)
