Role Description : The Equity Dealer role at Takht Financial Private Limited is a full-time, on-site position based in Kolkata. The Equity Dealer will execute client orders in equities and related products, ensuring timely and accurate trade execution through the designated trading platforms. Daily responsibilities include monitoring stock market movements, advising clients on execution-related matters, and managing trade confirmations and reconciliations. The role also involves coordinating with the research and advisory teams, managing client queries related to trading and positions, and adhering to all regulatory, risk, and compliance guidelines. The Equity Dealer will maintain detailed records, support account opening and onboarding processes, and contribute to a high-standard client experience in equity trading.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of the Stock Market and Equities, with practical exposure to order placement and trade execution.
- Hands-on experience in Trading, including intraday and delivery-based trades, with understanding of trading platforms and tools.
- Solid foundation in Finance and Investments, including portfolio concepts, risk management, and basic valuation principles.
- Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to work under time-sensitive market conditions.
- Clear and professional communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance norms in equity markets; certifications such as NISM Series VIII (Equity Derivatives) or related licenses are required.
- Proficiency with trading terminals, MS Excel, and basic reporting tools; prior experience in a brokerage or wealth management environment is preferred.
