About the role
We are looking for a sharp, research-driven Equity Analyst to join our investment team. You will conduct in-depth fundamental analysis of listed equities, generate actionable investment ideas, and contribute to portfolio decision-making.
Key responsibilities
• Conduct bottom-up fundamental analysis on listed equities across assigned sectors
• Build and maintain financial models (DCF, comparable company analysis, sum-of-parts)
• Prepare equity research reports with clear investment thesis, valuation, and risk assessment
• Track macroeconomic trends, policy developments, and sector-specific news
• Engage with company management and industry experts for proprietary insights
• Present investment ideas to the senior portfolio management team
• Monitor existing portfolio positions and provide timely updates
• Collaborate with dealing and risk teams on investment execution
Requirements
• MBA from a Tier 1 institution (IIMs — A/B/C/L/K/I, ISB, XLRI, FMS, IIFT) or Chartered Accountant (ICAI)
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in equity research, buy-side investing, or investment banking (coverage)
• Strong financial modelling skills with Excel proficiency; Bloomberg/Refinitiv experience preferred
• Deep understanding of financial statements and valuation methodologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
