Education & Background
•Bachelor's or above; Chemical Equipment, Mechanical Engineering, Automation & Control, or Thermal Engineering preferred.
•Combined fluorochemical-process and equipment-management background is a strong plus — you'll understand corrosion, sealing, and explosion-proof needs for R32/R134a equipment directly.
Experience
•8+ years in chemical-plant equipment management, including 3+ years as equipment manager at a fluorochemicals site, with ownership of full-lifecycle equipment management, major corrosion/leak prevention, and 10,000-tonne-class greenfield equipment systems.
•Fluorochemicals/fine-chemicals background preferred; knows strong-corrosion (HF, AHF), flammable (R32), and high-temperature/high-pressure (fluorination reactor) risks, plus corrosion control, sealing, and explosion-proof management.
•End-to-end experience: procurement (corrosion-resistant material selection, vendor technical negotiation), installation/commissioning (process tie-in, explosion-proof acceptance), O&M (preventive maintenance, corrosion/leak repair), and retirement/replacement (cost analysis for corrosion-resistant assets).
Core Competencies
•Risk control: identifies HF corrosion leaks, R32 compressor explosions, and reactor overpressure; specifies PTFE-lined piping, Hastelloy reactors, static grounding, inert-gas protection, and leak-response procedures to prevent equipment-triggered incidents.
•Lifecycle management: defines selection-procurement-installation-O&M-retirement strategy; builds asset ledgers, inspection standards, and maintenance plans to hit equipment failure rate ≤ X% and OEE ≥ Y%; addresses the short service life and high repair cost of corrosion-resistant equipment.
•Cost control: builds annual budgets (corrosion-resistant spares, outsourced repairs, coating renewal); uses preventive maintenance, domestic-substitution spares, and vendor competition to hit O&M cost ≤ X CNY/tonne of fluorochemical product.
•Leadership: manages mechanics, inspectors, and corrosion engineers; aligns maintenance, production schedule, and safety compliance against the need for continuous fluorochemical production.
Skills
•Fluorochemical equipment: knows fluorination reactors, distillation columns, R32 compressors, magnetic-drive pumps, and PTFE-lined piping — design, operating principles, and maintenance; independently diagnoses corrosion leaks, seal failure, and pressure anomalies.
•Data & tools: Excel and Minitab; uses TPM, RCM, and FMEA to trend failure rates, repair cost, and OEE; gives early warnings.
•Systems: EAM and ERP for digital asset ledgers, work-order flow, and spare-parts visibility.
•Standards: Pressure Vessel Safety Technical Supervision, chemical-plant maintenance codes, fluorochemical safety norms; handles pressure-vessel annual inspections and explosion-proof certification with regulators.
Nice to Have
•Led major equipment retrofits (reactor material upgrades, distillation-column energy savings) or built TPM/preventive-maintenance systems at a fluorochemicals site.
•Knows local equipment vendors and corrosion-resistant material suppliers.
