Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru for an Equipment Maintenance Supervisor at Paragon Footwear. The position involves overseeing the maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment to ensure maximum efficiency and minimal downtime. The supervisor is responsible for coordinating maintenance schedules, managing a team of technicians, inspecting machines to identify any potential issues, and ensuring adherence to safety standards. Additionally, the role includes maintaining records of maintenance activities and collaborating with other departments to support production targets.
Qualifications
- Technical skills in machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Experience in maintenance planning and scheduling, and preventive maintenance practices.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities to direct and support maintenance teams effectively.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to maintain detailed maintenance logs and reports.
- Proven knowledge of safety standards and regulations for manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency in using maintenance management software is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field, is preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in equipment and maintenance supervision in a manufacturing setup, preferably in the footwear industry.
- The ideal candidate should have a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance.
