Cloud Engineer

Equifax is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Engineer with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) expertise to join our technology team. This is a career-defining opportunity to work with advanced cloud-native technologies and lead mission-critical infrastructure solutions. Responsibilities: Design, build, and manage secure and scalable GCP infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform). Deploy and configure core GCP services such as GKE, Compute Engine, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Functions. Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins. Ensure robust cloud security with IAM, encryption, and compliance practices. Monitor cloud infrastructure and applications, optimizing for performance and cost. Troubleshoot and resolve production and non-production issues. Collaborate with development teams on cloud-native application architecture. Participate in on-call rotations and incident management. Maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure, configurations, and processes. Stay updated on GCP innovations and propose improvements accordingly.
