About the Role
We are currently seeking a talented Backend Architect to join our growing team in Hyderabad. This is a pivotal role where your expertise in Java and Golang will be instrumental in designing, building, and scaling backend systems that power cutting-edge products and platforms.
As a Backend Architect, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, set the technical vision, and define scalable architecture that can support millions of users while ensuring high availability, performance, and maintainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable and resilient backend systems using Java and Golang.
- Lead and mentor backend engineering teams across projects.
- Make architectural decisions aligned with product goals, business requirements, and future scaling needs.
- Define best practices for software engineering, code quality, testing, and deployment pipelines.
- Review code, provide guidance on technical decisions, and ensure high engineering standards.
- Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, product, and QA teams to deliver seamless and efficient solutions.
- Evaluate and implement tools, technologies, and frameworks that enhance productivity and performance.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in backend engineering with a strong command of Java and Golang.
- Proven experience architecting and deploying scalable microservices-based systems.
- Strong understanding of system design, distributed systems, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and APIs.
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Proficiency in CI/CD, containerization (Docker), and orchestration tools (Kubernetes is a plus).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and lead technical discussions.
Nice to Have
- Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Exposure to GraphQL or gRPC.
- Background in enterprise-level SaaS platforms or high-traffic consumer applications.
