Role Description The EPC Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in Jodhpur, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. This role oversees end-to-end project execution for solar EPC projects, including planning, engineering coordination, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing project timelines and budgets, supervising site activities, coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and contractors, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The EPC Manager will review technical designs, monitor installation and testing, resolve operational issues, and prepare regular progress reports and documentation. The role also involves stakeholder communication, risk management, and continuous improvement of project delivery processes to achieve high performance and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and budget tracking for EPC or construction projects.
- Technical knowledge of solar power systems, including design review, installation practices, commissioning procedures, and familiarity with utility-scale and rooftop projects.
- Experience in vendor and contractor coordination, procurement processes, and contract management within engineering or infrastructure projects.
- Ability to ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, including understanding of relevant standards, permits, and documentation requirements.
- Effective communication and leadership skills to guide cross-functional teams, collaborate with clients and partners, and resolve issues promptly.
- Proficiency in using project management and MS Office tools; experience with design or monitoring software for solar projects is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or related field) or an equivalent technical qualification; advanced certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) are a plus.
- Prior experience in solar EPC, renewable energy, or large-scale infrastructure projects, particularly in the Indian context, is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work in a hybrid setup, travel to project sites as required, and adapt to changing project priorities and conditions.
