Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site EPC Engineer BESS role located in Hyderabad. The EPC Engineer will be responsible for the design, engineering, procurement, and construction of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). Key tasks will include project management, technical evaluations, coordination with vendors, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and overseeing the successful deployment of energy solutions. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are delivered on-time, within budget, and meet client expectations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) design, engineering, and project management.
- Strong skills in procurement processes, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
- Ability to perform technical evaluations, risk assessments, and quality assurance.
- Knowledge of safety compliance, regulatory standards, and environmental impact procedures.
- Experience in construction management, on-site supervision, and project execution.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and team collaboration abilities.
- Educational background in Electrical/Mechanical/Power Engineering or related fields.
- Previous experience in energy storage systems, renewable energy, or similar industries is an advantage.
