Role Description The Environmental Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Palghar. This role is responsible for implementing and monitoring environmental policies and procedures within the manufacturing facilities, ensuring alignment with applicable regulations and company standards. Day-to-day activities include conducting environmental inspections and audits, tracking compliance metrics, maintaining documentation, and supporting Environment Health and Safety (EHS) initiatives. The Environmental Specialist will collaborate with operations, quality, and management teams to identify potential environmental risks, recommend corrective actions, and promote sustainable practices. The role also involves preparing reports, participating in training and awareness programs, and engaging with internal stakeholders to maintain a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong knowledge of Environment Health and Safety (EHS) and Environmental Science.
- Candidates should possess skills in Environmental Compliance and understanding of Environmental Policy and regulations.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams and preparing clear reports.
- Relevant experience in industrial or manufacturing environments, preferably in cookware or consumer goods, is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and recommend practical environmental and safety improvements.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently on-site in Palghar.
