About the Company
Primary Responsibility The Environmental Services Manager (EVS) is responsible for ensuring that all three assigned hospitals consistently achieve the highest standards of cleanliness, infection prevention, patient satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and frontline employee development. This role serves as the leader, coach, trainer, and quality assurance for Environmental Services (EVS) across three hospitals.

Core Areas of Responsibility Leadership and Team ManagementProvide leadership for EVS teams across the three hospitals.Conduct daily huddles with each hospital supervisor and communicate priorities based on the activities of the day.Foster a culture of safety, accountability, professionalism, and service.Maintain positive relationships with hospital administration, doctors, nurses, leadership, and department directors.Lead by example and support frontline teams when needed.Ensure adherence to set forth Cleaning/Infection Prevention Standards Core Values and "Cleaning for Health" philosophy.MissionProtect patients, staff, and visitors through scientifically validated cleaning and infection prevention practices while developing people and creating a culture of excellence across all three hospitals Key Expectations for the Operations Manager Over Three HospitalsPeople: Lead 40–100+ EVS associates.Develop supervisors and trainers.Maintain a culture of accountability and service excellence.

- Lead 40–100+ EVS associates.
- Develop supervisors and trainers.
- Maintain a culture of accountability and service excellence.
- Training
- Serve as the Train-the-Trainer Leader.
- Conduct monthly education sessions.
- Ensure 100% competency validation and documentation.
- Infection Prevention
- Partner with Infection Prevention departments.
- Champion Cleaning for Health principles.
- Utilize ATP and UV monitoring to validate outcomes.
- Quality
- Maintain quality scores above 95%.
- Achieve high patient satisfaction ratings.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Compliance
- Maintain survey readiness every day.
- Always ensure regulatory compliance.
- Infection Prevention Leadership
- Serve as the EVS Infection Prevention Champion by:
- Preventing Healthcare-Associated Infections (HAIs)
- Ensure cleaning processes support reduction of HAIs.
- Follow CDC, OSHA, and Joint Commission requirements.
- Collaborate with Infection Prevention and Nursing departments.
- Participate in Infection Prevention Committee meetings when requested.
- Promote cleaning for health, not cleaning for appearance.

- Utilize:
- ATP monitoring
- UV light/marker validation
- Fluorescent gel inspections
- Visual inspections
- Corrective action programs
- Chemical Compliance
- Ensure:
- Proper disinfectant selection
- Correct dilution ratios
- Required dwell times
- SDS compliance
- Safe chemical handling procedures
- Training and Staff Development
- Train-the-Trainer Program Leader
- Develop and maintain site trainers and team leaders.
- Responsibilities
- Train supervisors and lead technicians to become trainers.
- Conduct onboarding training for new employees.
- Teach:
- Standard precautions
- Transmission-based precautions
- PPE requirements
- Bloodborne pathogen safety
- Hand hygiene
