We are currently building our team and are now looking for a Landfill Expert.
Your Mission:
The Environmental Landfill Expert will provide technical expertise in environmental assessments, compliance, impact mitigation, and environmental management planning. The role supports projects in meeting environmental regulations and sustainability requirements.
Locations:South America, Serbien, Rumänien, Georgien, Egypt, portugal, North Africa, Thailand, Paraguay, East Europe, Mongolia, Brazil, Philippine, Algeria, Tunisia, Nepal, Nordmazedonien, Argentina, Romania, Sri Lanka, Ukraine, Asian Region, India, Bangladesh, Taiwan, South Africa, Georgia, Marocco, Indonesia
Your daily tasks:
- Plan and coordinate environmental projects in waste management and wastewater management.
- Coordinate environmental impact assessments, including study design, conducting EIA/ESA studies, and preparing detailed reports.
- Identify environmental risks and mitigation measures; ensure the project strictly complies with local and international environmental laws, permit conditions, and reporting requirements.
- Develop environmental management and monitoring plans, while supporting audits, inspections, and corrective action plans.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Waste Management, or a related field in Germany.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in environmental consulting or project management.
- Knowledge of environmental legislation, permitting, and compliance processes·
- Experience in impact assessment and environmental monitoring·
- Strong technical writing and analytical skills
- Fluency in both German and English (written and spoken) is required.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of IFC/World Bank EHS guidelines or similar international standards.
- Knowledge of GIS is a plus.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
- Experience with EIA/ESIA projects in waste management and landfill design
