Role Description
This on-site internship role, based in Bengaluru, is for an Environmental Lab – Soil Microbiologist. The intern will assist in conducting microbiological analyses of soil samples, operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, ensuring adherence to quality assurance protocols, and supporting laboratory operations such as data collection, analysis, and documentation. The role will involve contributing to research initiatives, ensuring quality control, and maintaining a clean and safe laboratory workspace.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Laboratory Skills, including handling and processing microbiological samples
- Experience with Laboratory Equipment operation and maintenance
- Familiarity with Microbiology techniques for soil and environmental samples
- Understanding of Quality Control and Quality Assurance protocols in laboratory settings
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures
- Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team
- A degree or coursework in Microbiology, Environmental Science, or related fields is preferred
- Prior experience in soil microbiology projects or lab work is an advantage
- The intern will be paid based on qualifications
