Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Koil for an Environmental Health Safety (EHS) Specialist. Responsibilities include implementing and monitoring safety policies, conducting safety audits, hazard assessments, and training programs, and ensuring compliance with environmental health and safety regulations. The EHS Specialist will also work to identify and mitigate risks, investigate incidents, and promote a culture of safety within the organization. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and staying updated on relevant safety regulations are also key aspects of this role.
Qualifications
- Comprehensive understanding of environmental health and safety regulations, risk assessment, and compliance standards.
- Strong skills in conducting safety audits, hazard analysis, and implementing corrective actions.
- Proficiency in delivering training sessions and creating educational materials on workplace safety.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills to identify and address workplace hazards effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and foster a safety-focused work environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or a related field is preferred.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Occupational Health and Safety Certification are a plus.
- Prior experience in safety management or a similar role in a professional setting.
