Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Environmental Health Safety Specialist based in Anand. The role involves conducting regular safety assessments, ensuring compliance with workplace safety and environmental regulations, and providing safety training programs for employees. The specialist will also monitor occupational health standards, investigate safety incidents, and develop procedures to minimize risks. Collaboration with teams to create and promote a culture of safety is an essential aspect of this position.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Health & Safety and Occupational Health practices
- Experience and knowledge in Environment Health and Safety (EHS) compliance
- Strong understanding of Workplace Safety protocols and risk assessment
- Ability to deliver effective Safety Training programs and workshops
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or related field
- Certifications in EHS or Occupational Health (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) are a plus
- Prior experience in the food or wholesale industry is advantageous
