Role Description
The Environmental Health Safety (EHS) Specialist will ensure the well-being and safety of employees by implementing and enforcing health, safety, and environmental policies. Responsibilities include conducting workplace safety assessments, developing safety protocols, providing safety training, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Bengaluru, with flexibility for occasional work from home.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Health & Safety and Occupational Health practices
- Knowledge of Environment Health and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures
- Experience in Workplace Safety assessments and risk management
- Ability to develop and deliver Safety Training programs
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Management, or a related field
- Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or similar qualifications are a plus
