Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for an Environmental Health Safety Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental health and safety regulations, implementing workplace safety policies, conducting safety training, and assessing potential hazards. Additionally, this role involves identifying and mitigating occupational health risks to promote a secure work environment.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Health & Safety, including knowledge of regulations and practices
- Experience in Occupational Health and assessing workplace hazards
- Proficiency in Environment Health and Safety (EHS) and related frameworks
- Skill in creating, delivering, and managing Safety Training programs
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health, Safety Management, or a related field
- Certifications such as OSHA, CSP, or similar are a plus
