Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Health Safety Specialist for a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. Responsibilities include overseeing health and safety standards, developing and implementing workplace safety protocols, conducting safety training sessions, and ensuring compliance with environmental health and occupational safety regulations. The role involves auditing safety procedures, identifying risks, and promoting a culture of safety across the organization.
Qualifications
- Solid experience in Health & Safety and Workplace Safety practices
- Expertise in Occupational Health and Environment Health and Safety (EHS)
- Proficiency in Safety Training and the development of safety protocols
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and risk mitigation strategies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health, Safety Engineering, or a related field
- Certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent are highly desirable
- Experience in manufacturing, retail, or technology service environments is a plus
