Role Description
Affine is seeking an Environmental Health Safety Specialist for a full-time, on-site role located in Bengaluru. The specialist will be responsible for ensuring workplace health and safety compliance, implementing and managing environmental health and safety (EHS) programs, and conducting safety assessments and audits. Key responsibilities include developing and delivering safety training, promoting occupational health practices, and fostering a safe and compliant work environment. Collaborating with internal teams to mitigate risks and maintain safety standards will be an essential aspect of the role.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) practices and programs.
- Proficiency in Health & Safety and Occupational Health standards and policies.
- Experience in promoting Workplace Safety and conducting risk assessments.
- Ability to design and deliver effective Safety Training programs.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or Public Health.
- Certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent are highly advantageous.
- Ability to manage compliance of health, safety, and environmental regulations effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
