We are hiring for Senior Environmental Engineer / Senior Manager – Sustainability & Compliance with our of multinational client into Constructions.
Position Title - Senior Environmental Engineer / Senior Manager – Environmental Approvals, MPCB Compliance, Green Certifications & ESG (MOEF/SEIAA | MPCB | IGBC | LEED | GRIHA | ESG | ECBC)
Department / Function - Sustainability / Environment / Design & Development / Project Delivery
Reporting To Head – Sustainability / Project Director / Head – Design & Development
Location - Mumbai / Maharashtra Project Sites (as required)
Position Purpose: The Senior Environmental Engineer will lead and govern environmental approvals, statutory compliances (MOEF & MPCB), green building certifications, ESG documentation, and ECBC compliance across large-scale real estate projects. The role requires strong authority interface capability, deep regulatory knowledge, and the ability to drive compliance from concept stage through construction and operations without impacting project timelines.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
A) MOEF/SEIAA Approvals – Preparation, Liaison & Compliance
B) Green Building Certifications – IGBC / LEED / GRIHA (End-to-End Support)
C) ECBC Compliance (Energy Code) – Coordination & Evidence
D) ESG Compliance & Reporting Support
E) Project Delivery Support (Construction Phase)
F) Client/Stakeholder Interface & Communication
G) Commercial, Risk & Quality
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering / civil (Environmental) / Environmental Science
- Master’s degree preferred
- Certifications (preferred): o IGBC AP o LEED AP / GA o GRIHA CP
Experience
- 12–15 years of progressive experience in: MOEF & MPCB statutory compliances, Green building certifications, Large real estate / township / infrastructure projects
- Proven capability to handle multiple projects independently.
